About the project: Mr.Yogi Vaid the owner of Vaid Crafts, Faridabad had a vacant plot in front of his house. He wanted to build a house there with all the modern amenities but at the same time with an old world charm. Thus came the idea of building Ambargarh fort , which he gifted to his son Amber. Mr.Vaid with the help of his childhood friend Mr.Aman Nath of Neemrana Hotels decided on the whole concept and gave it a shape to what is today known as Ambargarh Fort. The material used in building even including the bricks were chosen from all over India.
I will be covering only the flooring part here which was done by us, for more information on the project you can visit this link

About the Flooring
The tiles chosen here are all plain cemented i.e. without any terrazzo added to it combined with designer tiles to give an effect of soft colored inlay stone. The drawing and the dining area consists of largely plain tiles in fawn color, combined with designer patterns in Buff and Beige Color.
The lobby on the first floor has plain tiles all over in yellow color with an effect of carpet in between with designer tiles in Yellow and Creame Color.
The bedroom has again plain light creame tiles with stripes of herring bone design in creame and yellow color.
The step tiles have been done beautifully with two colors i.e. beige and buff on alternate steps to reduce the monotony.
All the balconies and the backyard has a flooring of Plain cemented Red color tiles.
